ABOUT ME

I have loved animals my entire life, but have particularly bonded with dogs. As soon as I was able to get a dog of my own as an adult, I did, and now I can't imagine life without a furry friend by my side. I have gained experience with dog handling through attending dog obedience classes, agility courses, volunteering at the local humane society and doing volunteer work as a certified therapy dog team with my dog Chanel, a lab. For the last year I have been keeping busy through Rover which has enabled me to gain experience with a variety of dog breeds, personalities and temperaments. I enjoy all types of dogs, big, small, energetic and calm! I love them all.

I volunteered to raise a puppy for Canine Companions for Independence (www.cci.org) based in CA in 2016 and it was a very rewarding and challenging experience. I became a more confident dog handler and learned a lot from fellow puppy raisers and trainers through the program. Chanel, my current side kick, decided to take a change of career and come home to me, so now she uses her skills with me as a certified therapy dog team. We love volunteering in nursing homes and at the Ronald McDonald Houses! We love bringing joy to those that might need a little extra snuggle from a furry friend.

After going through this experience and my love of dogs, I knew that I wanted be able to open a business that would allow me to be around dogs even more and provide a loving and comfortable environment for a variety of furry friends.

The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.” – M.K. Clinton
